Can you light play sets, treehouses or a backyard rink?
Gladly, and kids remember it forever. A lit swing set roof or rink edge takes modest materials and turns the backyard into the neighborhood attraction. We just keep cords clear of skate blades and sled paths.
Are the lights safe for cedar shake and slate roofs?
Yes. Both call for gutter mounted clips and ridge techniques that never puncture or pry the roofing itself. Several of the older Ada homes we light wear cedar or slate, and their roofers have never had a complaint about us.
Do animals ever chew the wiring?
Squirrels occasionally test a low strand, especially near feeders. Commercial wire jackets shrug off most attention, and any chewed section gets swapped during a covered service visit. It is a nuisance we plan for, not a bill you receive.
