Our Work
Frequently Asked Questions
When do Grandville install slots usually fill up?
Our Grandville calendar tends to fill through October, and the last open weeks are usually gone by the first week of November. Booking in September gets you the widest choice of dates. If you call later than that we will still get you lit, it just may be closer to December than you would like.
Can you work on a steep roof or a three story?
Yes. Steep pitches and tall gables are routine for us, and they are exactly the jobs you should not be doing yourself. Our installers work with fall protection and the right ladders, and if a section of your roof genuinely is not safe to walk we will tell you and design around it rather than risk somebody.
What colors can we choose?
Warm white is the most requested and the hardest to get wrong. Beyond that we run cool white, red, green, blue, multicolor and combinations, all in commercial grade LEDs so the tone stays consistent across the whole display instead of drifting between strands the way big box lights do.
Do you take the clips off too, or do those stay on the house?
Everything comes off. Clips, strands, timers and stakes all get removed in January so your gutters and shingles look the way they did in October. Leaving clips up year round is a shortcut some companies take, and it is how gutters end up with permanent marks.
What if our neighborhood or HOA has rules about displays?
Tell us during the walkthrough and we will design inside them. Some Grandville associations have limits on colors, blinking or how early displays can go up. We would rather know first than take something down later, and we have worked around plenty of these rules already.
Are your crews insured and safety certified?
Yes, and the badges in the header are real credentials. We carry full liability insurance, our installers hold the Advanced Inflatable Safety Operations Certification through SIOTO, the Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization, and we belong to the Inflatable Operators Association. The same anchoring and fall protection standards that make a bounce house safe at a Grandville birthday party apply on your icy roof in December.
