What Our Customers Say
Our Services
Nothing goes up until we have walked it with you, measured the runs and fixed one flat number covering install, winter service and removal. Around Walker that covers the neighborhoods off Wilson and Leonard, the streets near Walker Ice and Fitness, and the wooded lots toward Marne, and the same routes roll on into Comstock Park, Standale and Allendale.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you light a house you have never seen, from photos?
We can quote roughly from photos, but we do not install from them. Walker has too many odd rooflines, deep setbacks and tree lines for a photo to tell the whole story. The free walkthrough takes twenty minutes and it is what keeps the final number honest instead of a guess that moves later.
How many strands does an average Walker house take?
It depends far more on roof geometry than square footage. A straight ranch front might take a couple of runs, while a house with multiple gables, dormers and a wraparound porch can take four times that. We measure each run rather than estimating by house size, which is why two homes on the same street can quote differently.
Do you install during the day or after hours?
Daytime, in almost every case. Hanging lights safely means seeing what you are clipping to, and winter daylight is short enough as it is. You do not need to be home, and we work quickly enough that most Walker installs are done inside a single visit.
Can we add to the display partway through the season?
Usually yes. If you decide in early December that the front tree should have been lit after all, call us and we will come add it. We price the addition on its own, and provided the crew has not already loaded out for the season it is a straightforward visit.
What happens if we book and then change our minds?
Tell us before we buy materials and cut strands for your house and there is no issue. Once your set is cut to your roofline it is specific to your address, so at that point we would ask you to cover the materials. We are upfront about where that line sits when you book.
Are your installers insured and certified?
Yes, and the header badges are genuine credentials. We carry full liability insurance, our crews hold the Advanced Inflatable Safety Operations Certification through SIOTO, the Safe Inflatable Operators Training Organization, and we belong to the Inflatable Operators Association. The anchoring and fall protection discipline behind a safe bounce house at a Walker birthday party is the same discipline that governs an icy roof in December.
